Media terrorism seeks to hinder Latin American union

Caracas, March 26 ABN.- In accordance with the chief director of the Bolivarian Agency of News (ABN, for Spanish), Freddy Fernandez, the campaign of media terrorism in Latin America aims to “hinder the union of the nations.”

During an interview offered to a program at the state-owned television Venezolana de Television, Fernandez reiterated that “one of the major objectives of this campaign of media terrorism we are observing in Latin America is to stop the union of the people.”

He also mentioned that you cannot figure out that as this terrorism is on the media it does not generate victims and that what occurred in Colombia proves the opposite.

Fernandez remarked that those who express that media terrorism does not exist are just trying to deny it.

Likewise, he informed that during the Latin American Encounter versus Media Terrorism, to take place from this Thursday at the Rómulo Gallegos Center for Latin American Studies (CELARG, for Spanish), in Caracas, will meet representatives of different Latin American agencies of news, who will explain experiences and the position to assume before the media terrorism.
