Venezuela: satellite Simón Bolívar will be operating on November
Caracas, March 17 ABN.- The Minister of People’s Power for Science and Technology, Héctor Navarro, informed that the satellite Simón Bolívar will be operating on November, which will improve the communication systems in Venezuelan, especially in the isolated zones.
This Monday, through an interview held in the state-run TV station, Venezolana de Televisión, the Minister explained that 30 doctors have been training in China as programmers of satellites of communications.
The satellite will optimize the communication system in Venezuela and will provide a better systems to the zones of the South, to the indigenous communities and the border areas.
Navarro also explained that the satellite will activate several industries responsible of producing items for the telecommunication system.
Furthermore, the Minister said that the satellite will help to carry out tele-medicine, tele-education projects for the remote zones of the country. The satellite will be also useful for the sovereignty, the defense, the environmental and habitat issues, among others.
‘We are preparing to penetrate in the aerospace industry,’ he said.
